Completing the MPH

There are several elements that must be completed to earn the Master of Public Health (MPH) degree.

Successful completion of the required courses for the program in which admitted. (48 credits for traditional program/42 credits for accelerated program)

Completion of a minimum of 16 hours of seminar sessions.

Successful completion of the MPH internship

Successful presentation and submission of the MPH special project

Image of minimum 3.0 GPA text

Completion of the program with a minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA) with a C or better in all courses

Those in the online MPH program complete the requirements stated above and in addition must: complete the above requirements within 7 years from admission.

PLEASE NOTE: Students starting the program in or after Fall 2019 will have slightly different plans of study and requirements to account for accreditation changes and the introduction of Applied Practice Experience and Integrative Learning Experience, instead of Internship and Seminar.
