2021 Superior Accomplishment Awards

Two members of the MPH staff were honored with a Superior Accomplishment Award in February, 2021. Katherine Pizarro-Gutierrez, MPH, and Robyn Smith were both recognized for their exemplary service to the MPH program and its students. The award recognizes employees who contribute outstanding service, efficiency and/or economy to the university, or play a role in the quality of life provided to students and employees. They will go on to compete for the university-level Superior Accomplishment Awards.

Katherine is the Assistant Director of Admissions for the MPH program and oversees the application and admissions procedures. Katherine is a graduate of the college’s MPH program and has previously been involved with recruitment and acted as the Internship Coordinator. Robyn is an Academic Programs Coordinator for the College of Public Health and Health Professions. Until recently, she acted as the Online MPH Academic Assistant and worked with online students throughout their time in the program.
